Marigold Soap

Marigolds have a vibrant orange color and a unique aroma that I personally love. They’re an amazing annual and a must-have in my gardens. They attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, repel insects and attract predatory insects. Marigolds also have wonderful medicinal purposes. They have natural antiseptic properties, are great for your eyes (yes, they are edible) and can lower inflammation and free radical damage. One of my favorite ways to use them is in soap. Because I always have my hands in something and hate wearing gloves, I have horribly dry skin on my fingers. I add infused marigold oil to my goat milk soap and it leaves my skin feeling nourished and refreshed.
Pouring leftovers in a lined cupcake pan make it easy for little hands to use.
